Hi Keith,

thank you for your question… as it turned out, life got in the way - Nathanael went on to work for someone else, and Steve’s work took him outside Canberra more often than not.

I think that they are both still in favour of something like this happening - as would I be if I was not full-time on client site currently - it probably wouldn’t take much to resurrect the plans.

Let me know if you would like me to follow up with Nat and Steve.

I believe that http://www.faircanberraparking.org.au is a good cause - I will do my best to promote it. If you are planning a Facebook group to discuss it please send me an invite - I can think of several other people that feel the parking pain on a near daily basis and would be pleased to participate.

Hopefully my other project, Fair Canberra Parking (http://www.faircanberraparking.org.au) will help alleviate one of the major problems with CBD - parking; (although it’s not really aimed at making parking more affordable, though if we can wing that too that’d be awesome).

thank you for your comment. I take your point, and Steve’s, that Civic is more central. I know from helping out at the Community Technology Centre in Robertson that there are a variety of issues that await, and the good location will make all the difference.

In my case location is going to make the difference between a Coworking space being useful to me or not. That’s just me though - and it’s an entirely selfish point of view I know, but I work in Civic and a Coworking space in Civic is going to be more accessible for me to use during lunch or after/before work than one in Woden. However I realise that the same goes for people who are based in Woden, that a Woden Coworking space will be more accessible to them … so although I will be pushing for the CBD for myself, I think in the end the location will if possible be based on a collective of personal needs or other factors entirely.
